RESEARCH FINDS CORRELATION BETWEEN EDUCATION AND LIFE EXPECTANCY 
@ A study conducted at three universities in the United States has found a strong link between mortality and education level among individuals// The study has been published in journal PLOS ONE and was conducted by teams from the University of Colorado, New York University and the University of North Carolina//℗ 
@ The research team found that people with higher education, higher income and social status have better health and live longer// The reasons for the difference could be many// However, people with higher education generally engage in healthy eating, keep a better check on their health and also prefer a healthier lifestyle//℗ 
@ The researchers from the Department of Health and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Colorado have said that those who have lower level of education may face same health risks as being faced by smokers//℗
 @ In the study, the researchers have assessed data collected between 1986 and 2006 and participants involved in the study were born in 1925, 1935 and 1945// After assessing the data, the researchers then studied how the level of education has affected the death rate of adults between 25 and 85 years old around five years back//℗ 
@ From this, the researchers came to know about an association between higher education and longer lifespan// The researchers said people who have obtained high school degree are more likely to have healthier lifestyle as they earn more// Also, they would be having better mental health//℗
