@Chris Brown, 26, has been stuck in Philippines since July 22, when the government detained him at the airport citing his failure to show up to a concert fly home until he does! Still stuck in the Manila airport, Chris took to Instagram with a video begging President Obama for help getting back to the United States! ℗
@ President Obama probably can*t do much here, but it*s worth a shot// Chris performed in Manila on July 21 to a packed out crowd, and attempted to fly to Hong Kong on the morning of July 22 for the next stop on his world tour// He was stopped by Immigrations officials for his alleged failure to pay back concert promoters affiliated with the Church of Christ in the Philippines, for a show he was supposed to perform on New Years Eve but never did! ℗
@ They wanted their $1 million back, and filed a fraud complaint with the Philippine Department of Justice, which barred Chris from leaving the country// If he wants to leave, it*s to the tune of that million bucks! ℗
@ Making things more confusing was a previous statement from Chris reps, who that it was all a *misunderstanding,* and that Chris was already on his way to Hong Kong// They apparently had the wrong information, as Chris* plane was stopped while he was still literally on the runway// Awful! ℗
@ No charges have been filed against Chris yet, according to the Immigration Bureau*s spokeswoman Elaine Tan// But Chris hasn*t applied for the clearance required to leave the country! Chris, get yourself out of there! ℗
